Questions dog parents ask
How does a Freezbone work?
Fill it with something soft, freeze it for 2–3 hours, hand it over. Your dog licks and chews to get the food out, which keeps them busy and calm. Rinse and refill as often as you like.
How long does one fill keep my dog busy?
Most dogs work on a frozen fill for 30 minutes to a couple of hours. Colder, fuller fills last longer. Wet food and yogurt last longer than broth alone.
What can I put in it?
Anything soft or pourable that's safe for dogs: wet food, plain yogurt, mashed banana, pumpkin, bone broth, xylitol-free peanut butter, or our treat refills. No grapes, onions, chocolate or anything with xylitol.
Which size is right for my dog?
It comes in one size, made for dogs up to 64 kg.
Is it safe for heavy chewers, and can I leave my dog alone with it?
It's made from tough natural rubber with no shards or splinters. But no toy is indestructible. Stay nearby, check it before each use, and take it away if it cracks or pieces go missing.
What is it made of?
Natural rubber, free of BPA and phthalates. It's the same material class as other leading tough chew toys, and it's safe in the freezer and the dishwasher.
How do I clean it?
Rinse under warm water or put it in the top rack of the dishwasher. It's ready to refill right away.
Is it good for puppies and senior dogs?
Yes. Let the frozen fill soften for a few minutes first if your dog is a puppy, a senior, or has sensitive teeth. Start with a softer filling like yogurt.

both dogs love these with their regular meals or special treats! Easy to fill and to clean.
My dog absolutely loves this thing! I was really scared he was going to destroy it but he hasn't even tried! Even though he's 94 lb this thing will take him 20 to 40 minutes to finish depending on what I put in it!! He definitely gives it two paws up!!
Our pup Chief loves it! He’s a master chewer and gets through most bully sticks, kongs, etc within 10-20 min. I just purchased a few Freezbones and so far he’s loved them all. I stuff them with rehydrated kibble, blueberries, strawberries, bananas, some yogurt and/or peanut butter a little drizzle of honey and a chicken foot 🥴😂. I freeze it for a few hours or overnight and when he gets his special treat, he LOVES it. He licks them clean. So easy to wash, just throw it on the top rack of dishwasher … easy peasy. I just ordered a few for my grand pup, Cooper too!!!
I began fostering my dog through a local rescue over 18 months ago. She had been at the rescue for a year, but also in four different homes. For one reason or another, she kept coming back. The last time was the last straw, her anxiety was through the roof and she needs stability. So... I took her home. One of the primary activities that helped her learn to relax was stuffed food toys. We started with Kongs, which we still use, but she is a pro at them now. I have tried a few other toys, but so far, I love Freezbone the most for many reasons. Freezbone is much easier to stuff, clean and keep in the freezer. My dog also loves them because I can put more interesting things them. I haven't timed her on how long it takes to finish versus a Kong or other toy, but I feel like she works pretty long and I can make it tougher if needed.
We LOVE our new Freezbone cup! My Great Pyrenees puppy is 6 months old and this is such a wonderful enrichment toy for him. I feel more comfortable with this cup than the Kong because it is so easy to clean!!
A freezcup full of kibble and dog bone broth FOR THE WIN! Thank you for creating these. They are so tho k and durable. I don’t have to worry about my puppy destroying them.
Not as durable as I'd hoped for, but still a nice design. This was the first time it was used with our dog, so maybe not the best for heavy chewers, and going forward id probably pick the super tough option.
Polly loves her freezebone. This one holds 1 cup of kibble with a few add ins and broth. It’s a great meal replacement that takes a little more time to consume and is nice and cool on a hot summer evening.
This is just what our Mollie needed, just what we needed as well. It takes her anywhere from 25 to 55 minutes to finish and the silence it brings is such a sweet sound. She also is good for a nap once she is done! Ahhhhhh sweet serenity for us and a relaxed nap for her.
We have 2 of these and my pup uses one every day. He’s enjoying his “dessert” of plain Greek yogurt and peanut butter with some diced apples. I got that idea on your website from another pup parent. I would highly recommend this and will definitely be getting more!
We love this Freezcup! My girl eats super fast and using this cup has helped to slow her down significantly. Takes her 30+ mins to eat her meal out of the cup. I can fit about 1/2 cup of kibble, dehydrated with water (so it swells up quite a bit) with about 1/4 of wet food on top, which is perfect for us. It's showing some teeth marks after a few months but I feel it's to be expected with how she's using it. I already ordered another style and can't wait to try more!
I work for a rescue and got these for our dogs, who are housed in outdoor kennels. We love trying new ways to keep them cool in the summer and give them something fun to do, and this product has really been a hit! They get their dinner meal in a frozen Freezbone with all kinds of fun goodies so they really enjoy a cool, enriching meal during the hottest part of the day!
Love all of the products we got (9). The only issues I’ve run into is that my puppy has already managed to tear into the side of some of them. She likes using her bottom teeth to scrape the frozen treats and bites the sides in the process.
My pup loves this treat feeder, my guy suffers from separation anxiety, I use this treat feeder to occupy him while I’m away. I set up 3 at a time and freeze them, just before I’m out the door I put one in my fenced back yard and he is defiantly so occupied he doesn’t even know I’m gone
The product is as it is described on the website. My dog, I should say my puppy doesn’t spend a lot of time with it maybe a minute if that and then is done, but we also bought the flower and she spends a little bit more time with that all in all, I like the products and I would definitely Give it a positive review and buy the product again
The weather started to get hot here, so Maximus (Doberman) is on the patio in the shade, enjoying his "licker" filled with beef bone broth, carrot chunks, sweet potato, and a hidden treat at the bottom.
